I Like Mother Nature's Fireworks Better - Lightning

I was up late tonight talking to a friend. I went outside and noticed a lot of cloud-to-cloud lightning so I got my stuff and jumped into the truck to get to a darker area. When I got there I saw a little cloud-ground lightning so I hoped to get a few good shots.

Thank goodness for digital cameras. I would have shot a lot of film otherwise.

These were taken from the Southern end of San Marcos where I usually run my 2 dogs. The time is roughly 12:30am. By the time I got here, a lot of the pretty cloud-to-cloud lightning seemed to be done with. But I like the shots I got.
